Background: We don’t know very much about Sadie’s background. Sadie was rescued by a neighbor after Sadie’s owner planned to turn her loose when he was moving. Sadie was extremely under weight and had been badly beaten around the hips and legs.
Personality: Sadie is VERY laid back, sweet and loving. Sadie is good with children and is very gentle. Sadie loves to cuddle, sleep with you in bed and lie on the furniture. Sadie LOVES to ride in the car and is very good when you take her with you. Sadie loves treats (especially Honey Nut Cheerio’s), bones, stuffed animals, and toys. Sadie loves to be with her family and has separation issues when they are gone. Sadie is able to jump an average height fence; and will; if she is left outside alone for too long. Sadie loves and needs to be around people who LOVE her.
Ideal Home/Family: Sadie would do best in a home where she is the only dog (at least at first). Sadie would also do best with someone who can be at home with her because she gets so lonely when she is home alone (although she can be left home in a crate). Sadie needs LOTS and LOTS of LOVE from her family! Sadie has so much love to give and willingly gives it. Sadie does as well in a house as an apartment (as long as she is walked regularly and properly exercised). Sadie is generally a quiet dog and loves to look out the windows.
